About Me
My husband is J.  We've been married since July 2007.
Son is Weston.  He was born 5 years and two days after our wedding.
Daughter is Anna Beth.  She was born 20 months after Weston.
Puppy is Dixie...she loves me...like, a lot.
I am a Christian.
I love my family.
I teach 1st graders...and they think I'm pretty cool.
I believe in being nice all the time.
I never wear the color pink.
I am a chronic procrastinator.
I think Dr. Seuss and Shel Silverstein are genius.
I believe respect, good manners, and a positive attitude can get you almost anywhere in life.
Some of my favorite things are: laughing, reading, traveling, cooking, shopping, holidays (or any days) with familiy, Broadway musicals, the Andy Griffith Show, chips and salsa, Andy's frozen custard, red velvet cupcakes, and Dr. Pepper.

About this Blog
Most importantly, this tiny corner of the inter web gives me a way to document what's going on in my life and share that with family and friends. But it's also where I like to share and keep up with my thoughts and interests.  It provides me with a creative outlet that allows me to put into words what I'm thinking and feeling. There are MANY things that interest me so I can't make any promises about what will end up here.  But with two adorable babies, most of the content will be showcasing them in all their adorableness (not sure if that's a word).
